i was living in oak park, and making no money. i was starting over in a lot of ways.
on this one: my dad, talking about his old train set; an old friend interviewing strangers at Greenhouse second saturday with my tape recorder; random found cassette dude saying "um"; Austin's voice, television, and dying dog Sadie, a beagle who was too fat to walk; Ren; my grandparents telling me about the old times; Kali, Jocelyn, and Jeanie making noise in our practice space; the radio, here and there.
